Future-proofing a client's home design is an especially fun challenge for the UL team and this project was an interesting opportunity to craft a space that could stand the test of time.

This family-focused couple wanted to convert their large basement walkout into a multipurpose room that would begin as an entertainment space for their famous & expansive parties, and then convert to a small apartment when the time comes to downsize.

Accomplishing both goals meant paying attention to the larger plan in laying out the space, while also nailing the smaller details, like a curbless shower entry.
